Overview
A Paediatrician with over a decade of experience, Dr. George Jose is trained to handle all kinds of child and adolescent care issues. He specialises in Neonatology and takes a keen interest in Neonatal Transport and Ventilation, Infection Control, Paediatric Development Neurology, and follow-up care. He also trains fellow medical professionals in Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) procedures. He has completed a Fellowship in Neonatology from Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Thiruvananthapuram, and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore. He has also earned an MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere. Besides delivering lectures at many national and state-level medical conferences, Dr. Jose has written a research article on very low birth weight babies which was accepted by the Indian Academy of Paediatrics. He was managing a level 3 Neonatal Unit at SH Medical Centre, Kottayam before he joined the Centre of Excellence in Child Health and Adolescent Medicine.
